The undiluted emulsion of RAD WH can also be used as a high-quality water-repellent additive for water-based varnishes, impregnations and other wood coatings.

Special Properties

Application

To use as a hydrophobic impregnation in wood, RAD WH should be diluted with water. We recommend the content of the solid component in the formulation of 5-10% (dilute the product with water in a ratio of 1: 4 - 1: 9), the exact degree of dilution depends on the absorption capacity of the substrate. On the tree, the product is applied by brush, by spraying or by pouring.

RAD WH can be used undiluted as a hydrophobic additive for aqueous stains and other wood coatings. The product is added during or after mixing all reagents. Stains and impregnations on wood modified RAD WH are characterized by excellent water resistance and excellent water-repellent properties, especially after atmospheric aging. The recommended concentration is 1-3% by weight.

Storage

The shelf life of each lot is indicated on the product label. Storage longer than the date indicated on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer suitable. However, in this case, it is necessary to check the properties required for the intended use targets.
